Pam Altomare, Registered Massage Therapist

Pamela Altomare NH license #2529

Pamela began her bodywork in 1998 as a Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapist.  She went on to graduate in 2004 with a certificate in massage therapy from Dovestar Academy. Her work specializes in neuromuscular, yoga Thai stretch, and prenatal massage. Currently she is a student of Zero Balancing a body-mind therapy. Pamela also earned a BFA from the Boston Museum of Fine Arts and Tufts University.

Since her early twenties Pamela has been exploring inner traditions of meditation and movement. Although art has always been her love, the wonders of body-mind and spirit have always been her passion. Pamela has a deep appreciation of the bodies nature to heal itself and believes that massage and bodywork can help one back to their natural state of balance and happiness. Surgeries, injuries or just everyday living can create chronic discomfort or mental fatigue. Pamela works with you to discover your own places of holding or dis-ease, her understanding of the body-mind finds its way into each massage allowing you to experience your unique balanced and integrated self. She truly enjoys sharing with clients and being part of their ever-flowing process of wellbeing.

Pamela grew up in Connecticut by the meeting of three rivers. Her appreciation for the changing, cycles of river life and the lessons they bring have grown into one of her deepest influences. Today she lives off a tributary of the Israel River in Lancaster, NH. She has named her practice RiverLight to honor the consent flow of life the river brings. When not connecting with clients in her office, or studying the miracle of our human form, Pam enjoys gardening, painting and long river walks.
